How I start my day!

Hello everyone and thank you for reading my blog. This is my very first post on my very first blog. I’m super excited to share my journey with you and tell you about myself and the great products I represent. At some point I’ll do an about me post but for now I thought this would be a great start, how I start my day and my first blog post. I’d like to get started on the right foot!

So without furthur ado, I shall get started. So one day, long, long ago in a faraway land… I had you going for a minute there didn’t I? I am going to give you just a little back story so it’s not so confusing though.

About five months ago I decided I needed to lose some weight. So I found this amazing program (that I will tell you about in another post) and one of the requirements is to give up coffee for 28 days. I know some of you are thinking, how in the world could you give up coffee for almost a month? I’ll tell you it wasn’t easy, but totally worth it. I’m telling you when you start your day with more than just coffee and maybe candy or junk food (like I did), it makes a world of a difference.

So I usually start my day without the aid of an alarm clock. Let me tell you it’s very nice. (I’m sure some of you are wondering how I do this and I’ll explain that in the post about the amazing program to lose weight and make money with). Don’t get me wrong some days I use an alarm because I’m not a natural riser at 6 am. I joined a networking group called BNI and they start at 7:30 am and I’m a stickler for being on time. I do this to help promote and grow my business though, so I’m not complaining.

On my regular days, I get up with the dogs and my boyfriend and some days his son. I get the dogs fed and my boyfriend goes to work and I have a cup of tea now and a protein shake. I realized after cutting out coffee for 28 days, I don’t need it and I really don’t like it. I’d rather start my day the easy and healthy way with a protein shake. I’m all about doing things the easy way too. I’ll be writing more about that in another post. So now I skip the coffee and have tea, especially when it’s cold I love a hot drink, and I have my shake. It’s amazing what a proper breakfast will help you accomplish. No more afternoon crashes, no more upset stomach and no more headaches when I don’t get my coffee. It has certainly changed how I feel about mornings, I’ve never been enthusiastic about them. Now I enjoy getting up to have my shake and get the day started on the right foot.

I’m sure you’re all wondering too, how much weight I lost, cause that was the main goal, not giving up coffee. Well I lost 12 pounds in 28 days. Which for me was great, I’m very happy with that and I continue to maintain it and that’s the best part of it all.
